An exciting opportunity for Health Information Management Director has become available at an established healthcare facility located in Western Texas. This acute care facility offers high-quality health services to patients, families, and the surrounding community. Some of the services offered include emergency services (ER), cardiopulmonary, laboratory, orthopedics, radiology, and more. Plans, organizes and directs the provision of Health Information Management services. Establishes policies, procedures, standards and departmental objectives. supervises departmental personnel and manages all functions including record completion, transmission, indexing, abstracting, coding, research, filing, storage, retrieval and maintenance. Participates in transcription, DRG coordination duties, and APC assignment to O/P claims. RHIA preferred. JOB

Leadership and management abilities and effective oral and written communication skills. Licensure, Registry or Certification:
RHIT or RHIA license.
Experience:
